I’d only do ceremony to reception. Basically everyone has GPS/google maps these days.

@angelapicklebottom:  If you are thinking about putting the directions in with the Invites, then I’d do them in a very generic format for WHERE the Ceremony & Reception will be held… Name of Venue, Street Address… maybe a shot from GOOGLE MAPS.

This would suffice for anyone in the same city, or coming by car.

For everyone else, from your posting I take it there is a primary Hotel that you’ll be using for out-of-town Guests (so those less familiar with the area).  Either include detailed directions as part of your Weclome to the Wedding Packages / Goodie Bags (distributed on check-in) or make sure that someone is in charge of getting such detailed info / flyers to your Guests.

At least that is how I’d do it.

My wedding was a 3-hr drive from where we (and most of our guests) live.  The location was relatively remote with poor cell reception, and it’s about a hour drive off the main highway/thruway in the area.  So, I included driving directions from that main highway/thruway.
