I love the up do, but then again I am a fan of hair up than hair down. The other styles are beautiful though! Is your hair really thick? How likely would it stay curled and styled throughout the night?

I understand your concern, it takes so many bobby pins when I want to wear my hair up!

I voted for style #4, but I liked #1 too.. If you wear #1, I think the bun should be on the side opposite of the strap

How is the bride wearing her hair? And what about the other BMs? I only ask because I had a hair plan for a wedding I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man in last year and then the bride told me how she wanted to wear her hair… Yeah, identical styles!

Also, for my wedding… My Maid/Matron of Honor had her hair done by the same stylist I did(at the location, the morning of the wedding), she had a half up/half down style with a braid leading back to it… My 2 BMs showed up with their hair done (they did it themselves)… Both had half up/half down styles, but one had a braid leading back and one didn’t… So the lone Bridesmaid or Best Man without a braid quickly braided her bangs and hid a bobby pin in her hair πŸ™‚ if they had planned ahead of time, she could have incorporated a braid more easily πŸ™‚

So, if the bride is doing a side pony, then you prolly want to do an up do πŸ™‚ And, if the other BMs are wearing their hair in similar styles, you should coordinate with them πŸ™‚

@SweetHoneyBee:  Oh sounds like a great variety! I think any of these choices would be great then πŸ™‚

I think #4 is too bridal. You do not want to have more elaborate hair than the bride. I generally suggest updos because your style is more likely to last through the dancing and won’t be as hot, but it could be very heavy with the much hair. I think the first one is great.

@SweetHoneyBee:  I love the idea of combining #3 and #4… #4 is my favorite, but I understand PP’s concern that it may look too bridal… I felt like #3 was missing something… So adding some more curls like #4 might be just the trick!

Early on in wedding planning, I had my mind set on a side pony with curls… So I’ve got lots of inspiration pics if you need them… But right now, I’ll just give you two views of one of my favorites πŸ™‚
