I have four bridesmaids, two are out of town but come to visit occasionally. They are ALL different. Tall, short, different sizes…. How do I go about shopping? Do I take them all out to try stuff on? (Not at once as that’s impossible with the out of towners) or do I just choose what I want and hope something looks good?
I did go with my maid of honor and I have about 3 dresses that I liked, that could be possibilities. Do I take each girl out to try those on and just stick with those?
I don’t know how this is suppose to work and I want all the girls to feel like they’re involved.
I’m thinking different styles as well.

@Stressed_Bride15: I am having my girls get their dresses from this website called Weddington Way because it is all online. But they do carry the brands that the website has in certain stores (like the Dessy line) and the girls could go try them on that way. My bridesmaids are all over the place also, 3 out of state 2 local. The customer service is awesome at Weddington Way and they offer a video and extensive guidelines on how to take measurements for the dresses. And you can also look at all the dresses online next to one another. Or you could pick a color and pick styles that you think are the most flattering on each girl (or ask them what style of dress they like best, a-line, empire, etc.) that are from the same designer and have them pick the dress they want. Or pick 2-3 different styles in the same color and let them pick from them.

For the weddings I have been in as well as my own the bride just chose the dress and we would call in our measurements to the bridal shop OR we would order the dress from the designated site.
We did not go dress shopping altogether. You could go with just the couple people near you and then decide. Of course bringing the BM’s along for a shopping day invites them to give their opinion etc. So if you want complete control over the dress, then I would just choose what you like. You could always try it on if you want to see it on someone.
At the end of the day there never seems a dress that is the perfect dress for everyone, so just choose what you like.
