I am at my wits end (again) over ring bearer outfits. Our party will be dressed in a very muted pink (the gals) and a medium gray (the guys). The picture below is somewhat representative. The guys suits are a little lighter than the color ours will actually be in.
Originally, I was thinking I would put the boys in gray slacks with a gray newsboy hat and suspender and bowties. But, I keep running into the problem of matching the grays. Will it look tacky if they are in a different gray than the adults? How am I going to get newsboy hats that match the pants?
So, then I thought maybe just put the boys in all black. Will it clash? I am really at that point in planning where I contemplate things for a couple days and then just say “whatever.” I am afraid I am doing that again and it won’t look right. What do you bees think?

I wouldn’t worry about matching the greys, but I would choose grey. The black looks a little harsh in your palette.
You can get outfits where the hat matches the pants or a vest. Or get a hat that is a houndstooth check or a plaid that has the grey color in it.
There are Etsy sellers who do custom orders but they can be pricey.

@MrsM914: I would stick with grey. I think it they don’t match exactly it won’t be a big deal. Maybe even go deliberately light grey since the Groomsmen will be in medium grey so it doesn’t look like you were trying to match but rather coordinate. I love the newsboy hat idea.
