Only thing I can recommend is to take the bumpers off, they are no longer recommended for cribs and move the sound machine stuffed animal to the outside of the crib. Technically there should be nothing in the crib bit a fitted sheet and said baby.

I went on Pinterest and searched …. baby room art and TONS came up.  Some really cute, cost effective looking ideas.

What about some wall decals? The only color I notice is on the changing pad cover, is that a pattern you like? You can probably find some wall art and decals using that color. Also, some curtains would be nice.

You can find a lot of painting on Etsy, they have all kinds of stuff depending on what colors and themes you are looking for.

Just to give you and idea I did gray for the walls in my daughters room, and for color I did pink sheets, changing pad cover, and baskets on the changing table. I then put a few frames on top of her dresser. And on her walls I found 3 paintings at Home Goods, and bought a name decal for over her crib. She also has pink and gray curtains.

@Sassygrn Agreed. Bumpers are considered a sids risk now.

Maybe a small ceiling fan? Very cute nursery!!

I agree with other pp about a colorful decal on the wall that can be removed when baby grows up and won’t ruin your wall paint. Looks cozy 🙂

Maybe the baby’s name on the wall or a cute piece of artwork?

Love the quilt! Yeah, even the mesh ones are generally not recommended. I used to work at a high risk center for babies and toddlers and the nurses and doctors were very strict about this.

Maybe instead of baby’s first name, since that is still TBD, you could do the alphabet or your last name?
