I ordered satin robes for my bridesmaids but they are all creased. I tried ironing them on the lowest setting inside out with a thin towel over the top but being on such a low heat setting it made no difference so I tried it without the towel but same problem. I didn’t want to turn the heat up incase it ruined them. I’ve seen people suggest putting them in the dryer with a damp towel. Has anyone tried this and has it worked? Can the dryer shrink the robes at all?

I’m not sure if the dryer would shrink them, but have you tried hanging them in the bathroom and then running the shower really hot (using the steam to loosen the wrinkles) with the door closed? I don’t know if it would work with robes, but I’ve heard it works with veils and it might be worth a shot if you don’t want to risk shrinking the robes.

i could try that. They are quite stubborn creases so im not sure if it will work but i can give it a go!

I’d use the steam function on your iron to steam them out.
