First off, I’m so excited, we just bought brand new bedroom furniture, comforter set and curtains (YAY!). Anyway, I got the velvet panels below, which are labled as Dry Clean Only. What’s the best way to get the fold lines out of them from the packaging?
I thought they would fall out, my Fiance doesn’t think so. I am afraid ironing them would burn or mat the velvet, even on the reverse side.
Do you think it would be OK to fluff them up in the dryer on the delicate setting? I’ve never had velvet panels, so this is new to me … THANKS!
Just for fun, here’s our new comforter set and bed!

You could put them in the dryer with a damp cloth, but only on the cool setting.
Another option is to hang them over the shower curtain in you bathroom and steam them out when you take a shower.
Or the best option, if you have a steamer, lightly steam them.

here is a link to info about pressing velvet.
It is important to be careful as damage can be permanent

I would use a steamer on them. Try to borrow or rent one if you don’t want to buy one 🙂
