I am literally about to lose my mind. one second, I just want to scream and in the next i want to bawl. I know AF is supposed to arrive today or tomorrow, so I am positive that this is due to her/taking the placebo BC pill, instead of the active one. I am driving my Fiance nuts, and I would really like to return to my normal self. Any ideas on how I can get back to myself and get rid of this CRAZY irritability?

Usually when I feel that way, I go out and get whatever I want to eat! Pasta for breakfast, chocolate ice cream, whatever. it helps at least a little bit.

Every month my sister was super emotional and moody when she got her period. I don’t know the name of them but she took a supplement made specifically for PMS but I believe they had B vitamims. I know they helped her a lot. Even though she tried to make sure she had them on hand, one month she ran out. When her PMS kicked in it was pretty bad, so bad that when she and her husband got into an arguement she threw a knife at him. He got out of the house quickly and came back with 3 bottles!!

You may want to consider switching to a different birth control method or switching the kind of pill you’re on. When I take the pill I have to take something for PMDD the week before and of my period or I basically just cry the entire time.

LOL I was going to say limit the carbs and eat really healthy!
But talk to your gyno as something could be off here. I’ve never had mood swings like this.

Exercise or have sex. Even when I have to FORCE myself I always feel better after. Vitamin b complex too.

@brandybelle: excercise. Totally helps cause it produces endorphins which make you feel better and happier (:
