I have re-purposed my mom’s veil to use as my own. I washed it before I sewed it to the comb, but now it is all wrinkly. What would you suggest as the best way to get out the wrinkles? I don’t own a steamer, and I tried using the steam function on my iron but it didn’t help at all! Thanks for your help!

Try a damp towel, fold it in half and put the veil in side, make sure to lay it straight, kind of like a towel and veil sandwich, then iron the towel.

Try hanging it up on a hanger in the bathroom while the hot water is running. Depending on how deep the wrinkle are, they should come out. Also, just hanging it up on a hanger overnight may get the wrinkles out. When you store it, wrap it in noncolored tissue paper and then put it in a large zip lock back to store it.
