what about going to the suit section at jcpenny or macys? They have an assortment of sizes and you could put together a 3 piece suit or something since it’s summer.

That’s an easy challenge. The groom doesn’t have to match everyone else. Just get the groom a suit that looks good on him and is a diiferent shade of grey than the groomsmen so it looks intentional.

@abarber3:  Sorry, I misread you post. I’m sure your groomsman will appreciate your efforts to find something that will work for him, as well as the rest of the men.

Department stores sometimes carry regular and big ‘n tall sizes.

Overstock has this vest:

They also have pants that come in a wide range of sizes

I’m not suggesting these would be perfect together but the vest and pants don’t necessarily have to match as long as they coordinate.

I know you said that you’re not fond of the mismatched look, but even if they all had the same vests and bought different grey pants, it would look nice.

We are having to go with custom our groomsmen range from a 28 to a 58. Its actually not that much more expensive to order the perfect suit from http://www.studiosuits.com and they will do that range in size with little extra cost to the larger sizes.
