Go round there? If she’s not being helpful through the phone, why not pay her a visit (just him mind) and explain in person that the work is done, you need payment. Be firm. Remember that she has no really valid reason not to pay.

I would wait unless it is a friend I dont care about my relationship with. It sucks but did he set up a payment timeframe with her? In the future, I would NEVER do any business with her again. Stories like these are why I dont do business with friends. I have no patience for this stuff.

If it was me I (him) would call we and just lay it out. Tell her your wedding is in so many days, he didn’t realize he’d have to wait until all the work was done in order to get paid and he was counting on the money for wedding stuff, would there be any way she could pay him before the other guys seeing as though he doesn’t have anything to do with them and his part is done.

Thats all the advice I have, unfortunately you can’t MAKE her pay before she wants to, but maybe if she realizes that she’s putting him in a bad spot and he was doing her a favor by working so hard, she might cough up.

Good luck!

Sorry, this sucks :(. But I don’t think there is much more you can do other than continuing to bug her every few days until she pays. Good luck!

Without a proper agreement about terms (which is actually all the more important to have when working for friends) I agree that there’s not much more you can do than keep pushing for payment. Hopefully it’ll be easier to pay up than keep being asked for the money you are owed!

Also, and please don’t take this the wrong way, but I’ve noticed that you share an awful lot of personal information in your posts including your real name and that of your daughter and OH. You might consider being a little more guarded because it makes you very easy to find in real life.
