    Perhaps you could make some type of petal runner for both sides of the gravel to make it look more intentional. There are some great petal runners in the DIY section

    Leave the gravel, I think it looks normal and is more natural than tar. As far as the picnic tables, I think they could be super cute if you want to go with the rustic theme. However, from your comment about the gravel being too informal, it sounds like you want a more formal wedding in the park. If this is the case, price out round tables and decide if the expense is worth it to you.

    Hello red carpet! This has red carpet written ALL over it. But just for the aisle that you will walk down on. Leave the rest of the gravel as is. It adds to the airy, romantic feel of the park.

    I like the idea of putting nice table-cloths on the park benches. It’s true that they do not have back support so you might want to consider that for your older guests or length of ceremony.

    Also, is the park open to all during your wedding hours? Please consider onlookers as well!
