- Wedding: April 2015 - Family Farm
The Fiance has a female cousin that is like a sister to him. He plans to ask her husband to be a groomsman. I adore her but don’t feel that we are close enough to ask her to be a member of the bridal party. Still we would liek her to be part of our day. Does anyone have suggestions?
A couple things. We aren’t having a guest book but do plan on having programs.
Wasn’t sure where to post this.

Have her do a reading at the wedding, perhaps? That’s what I did for my SIL.

The only other thing is to have her do a reading, really.

Yup, a reading! We had the same type of scenario (not a cousin though), and I asked her to do a reading and she was super touched so it was perfect 🙂

I would say to do a reading as well!

I also vote for doing a reading. I’m not a fan of having someone watching the guestbook or handing out programs. More of a job than an honour but that’s just my opinion.

Olgarie: Reading would work. We also had hosts and hostess that greeted our guests at the venue. You don’t have to have couples, so maybe that’s something she can do as well. Just an extra thought 🙂

not for the ceremony but is she charismatic? you could ask her to MC your reception.
