Does anyone have any tips?
We started planning a little over a year in advanced. I told my wedding planner that I could do a lot on my own, but gave her a list of what I needed from her. We started out very low budget and it’s been steadily growing with the reality of what things actually cost. During the past year I ended up changing jobs and suddenly I had no free time. Now it’s about 2 months to the date, I’ve gotten more freetime from my job, and I’ve been unable to find a make up artist, caterer, florist, rentals, and hotel for out of towners.
Are these vendors usually pretty easy to get within that amount of time and with a low budget wedding?
Also, I kind of want to talk to my wedding planner about everything. I want to tell her how stressed I feel and pathetically would like some reassurance that things are going ok. I’ve been sending her a lot of emails, texts, and sent some stuff through the mail. Would I be taking a toll on her to try and have a talk? She hasn’t replied to some of my messages and I’m assuming she’s super busy. I just don’t know where she’s at in the planning process and if I’m doing things right.
My fiance tells me I’m stressing and to calm down. Easier said than done, I feel like I have so much to do and organize on top of all the hours I work at my job. Friends and family are helping, but some are making things worse too.
What did you do in times of wedding stress?
