Weddings are a great opportunity for teenagers to learn how to function socially and learn what’s appropriate behavior for a formal event. I wouldn’t provide any extra accommodations for them. They’ll likely be either dancing or mingling, and if they can’t do either, then this is a great time for them to practice.

So we won’t have kids at our wedding, but there will be a few teenagers there – I’m hoping they’ll mingle, but you never know. Since they’re too old for kiddie stuff, what would you Bees recommend to keep them from twiddling their thumbs (or more realistically, texting and wishing for Xbox)?
For the record, there will be about 3 teenage girls and two teen boys. Possibly out of them one boy and one girl might not be as sociable as the others.

Unless they are all related and sick of each other, they will probably have a good time socializing among themselves–5 is a good number for those purposes. But I agree with @joy2011, a photobooth would definitely go over well.

We’ll have several teens at our wedding/reception and I don’t feel like it’s our responsibility to entertain them. They will be able to dance/listen to music like everyone else – up to them if they want to join in. We also have unlimited pop so if nothing else, they’ll be cranked on caffeine.
