I know this isn’t one of your choices but when I think of a winter wedding and getting photos outside my mind always drifts back to Kate Hudson’s wedding and the coat/cape she wore.  I think it’s stunning.

I have a friend who was married last winter in a dress similar to yours! If I can find a picture I will post it later. She wore a beautiful white faux fur jacket. When she first told me I thought it would be cheezy, but it actually looked super elegant. Her and her hubbie got photos out in the snow and she looks like a regal queen or something!! Breath taking 🙂

This is personally my favorite winter picture. It’s on my venue’s website, and I almost changed the season I’m getting married in after looking at the pics from her wedding :).

I voted for yellow.  It might be hard to find a white pashmina in the exact shade.  And also, if there is snow, you might blend into the background.  I love the pop of colors in winter wedding photos, especially since the background tends to be either white, or gray/ brown.  And the idea of reusing it for a baby blanket is special!

Our wedding is early November, and it will probably be a little cool that day, so I bought an eggplant pashmina. Now I’m debating on creating a tulle wrap to tuck into my dress to give my arms so me coverage during the ceremony. We’ll see!
