I’m trying to finalize our invites, and I have one info card that will include exact addresses for the ceremony and reception locations, information on hotel reservations, and last night we agreed that we should include our “rain plan” on the info card as well.
Basically, our plan in the event of rain is to push the ceremony up or back by 20 minutes if it’s just threatening rain, and if it’s actually nasty we’re going to have the ceremony at the reception location.
However, I can’t fit all that on a card.
So, these are the wordings I’m debating:
1. Weather: In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held at Reception Location Name. Please contact Wedding Coordinator Name at XXX-XXX-XXXX for instructions.
2. Weather: In the event of inclement weather, please contact Wedding Coordinator Name at XXX-XXX-XXXX for instructions. Full details are listed on our website.
3. In the event of bad weather, please check our website or call Wedding Coordinator Name at XXX-XXX-XXXX for instructions.
What do you think? I’m just running out of room on our info card!
