Vista print has postcard sized announcements that you have moved. Just order those (with details) and mail them out!

I’ve heard of things called “At Home” cards – they’re like a card saying The bride and Groom will be “at Home” as of this date…. and you state your new address.  Just send one out to everyone you sent an invite to.  Here are some examples:

Orrrr, go to Vistaprint, and get the “Moving Announcement” cards they offer.

I have never used the address on the invitation for gifts. I’ve always used the address that the couple listed with the store they registered at since some brides want gifts sent to them, some to their parents, some to the groom (if they don’t live together yet), etc. So, I’m not really sure this will be a problem.

A “we’re moving” postcard could be cute and useful. Vistaprint offers them or you could design your own.

Make sure to update the address on your wedding registries too if you currently have them shipping to your home.

@MsMindle:  They’re really classy!  I want to do an at-home or moving announcement card, but my Mom said it will seem like I’m fishing for gifts (She is cray-cray).  They have some really cute ones on Vistaprint, but yes, as you can see: my heart is after letterpress!
