Stop strength training and up the cardio. Doing only cardio will decrease your muscle mass. Since you have until July, you should be fine. It may also help to lover your protein intake, but be careful you don’t drop it too low.

@AliLeeOlbu:  Did you train the day before? You swell a lot in the area. Stop strength for a couple days it should go down. I would say decrease strength since you put on mass so quickly and do some cardio kicboxing or something like that.

@AliLeeOlbu:  You can gt lots of protein out of a vegan diet. I think a better plan would be to find out the range of protein you should be eating and consistently stay at the low end.

I strength train and lift heavy weights through Crossfit. I think you should change your diet. I eat clean: lean protein, low sugar, high fiber, protein shakes, and try to eat at least one meatless meal a day. I’ve lost 7 pounds and noticed my chest and waist have slimmed down in just one month! I actually like how strength training has helped shape my back and toned my shoulder/arms.

I would agree to up the cardio and switch to lighter weights and higher reps. I do 2 days/week of light weight high reps, 1 day heavy, and 6 days of cardio (usually an hour) and I’m pretty thin and lean, I’ve never bulked up on this routine.
