Put it in a garment bag, fold it up and put it in a box?

I thought you meant it the same way that JoJo Bananas did. Maybe you should rephrase your original post to get more appropriate replies.

I went with a flat rate box from USPS and it worked great. There was no guessing at the shipping cost and the buyer was very happy to know the cost up front. It was sent from New Husband on a Tuesday and arrived in FL on Thursday.

I’ve also purchased a dress and the buyer didn’t know the shipping cost up front. She ended up sending it by USPS but in a regular box. It arrived within three days. She had under estimated the shipping and told me that it cut into her profit. I basically only paid for the shipping and got the dress for free because of it.

I shipped the dress I sold UPS ground– because I live in Alaska and shipping is SO expensive.  I also had the dress sent to me through UPS Ground. I put it in a garmanr bag, then another plastic bag around it. I folded it gently so as not to bend the corset, and then shmushed it in the box! Whoever purchases it will have to get it pressed anyway, so as long as you don’t bend the corset (if it has one) the rest will be fine.
