gpiglet:  You’ll be newly married, surrounded by sun and sea, lots of food and drink, and a room. I think it will be romantic as is πŸ™‚ maybe pack some lingerie and a sexy swimsuit. πŸ˜‰

gpiglet:  There are always nooks and crannies on any ship where you can have a quiet moment together. Have you looked up your ship on http://www.cruisecritic.com  ?  You may find some tips there.

I’ve never been on that ship but Fiance and I look to find the very front of the ship. Usually its pretty hard to find and can only be found by extensively searching between the 4th and 7ish floors. Most people dont find this area and so its always just us. We love to get some drinks or some ice cream and just stand out there and watch the water. Its so romantic and is a great way to spend some quality time together.

Also, there are a lot of people on ships (obviously) BUT if you want to you can make your trip very romantic and just about you and your new husband. I definitely agree that you should buy some sexy new bikinis and some lingerie and just relax. You will have an AMAZING time!

We went on a honeymoon cruise as well. We ordered breakfast in bed (free) and ate it on the balcony many mornings and just watched the waves go by. That might have been one of my favorite parts of the whole honeymoon! You’ll def find ways to celebrate your time together as husband and wife!

You typically can’t utilize spa common areas unless you book a service, despite not being spa people.. A couples massage is a great way to relax and is very romantic.

I wouldn’t try too hard.. You’ll be just married and on your honeymoon.. Hard to get more romantic than that!

I second ordering breakfast to the room!! We ordered most mornings!! But also go to the Windjammer on top deck for breakfast and/or lunch, they have everything and its SO GOOD!! I also suggest making reservations at one of the pay restaurants for a night.. the dining room is AMAZING but its nice to do a special dinner. (PS – If you want to try more than one of the appetizer/dinner/dessert options in the main dining room Go for it!! haha, each day I had 2 apps, some days 2 dinners, and one day 3 desserts!!) We went to the sushi restaurant.. SO GOOD and not too pricey. Have you reserved any excursions? I suggest these over the spa idea… our favorite was the dolphin push/pull … it was the most amazing experience, it was in mexico and there were so many other things to do in the same park (tequila tasting, swim up bar, restaurant…) so it was totally worth it.

Also, Definitely be sure that you reserve the shows ahead of time. One for each night, Chicago, the ice show, the comedy show, the diving show, etc… So you can get in right away and do not have to wait in line. People will miss shows if they don’t because they fill up so fast. You can do this online… I wouldnt miss any of the shows because they were AMAZING πŸ™‚

HAVE FUN!! I am jealous I want to go back!!! πŸ™‚

gpiglet:  My fiance and I just went on our second cruise in december. I think that what you want to do is completely possible. Like a PP said, the front of the ship is always the hardest to find or stuble upon so there seems to be less people. We went to the front of the ship and my fiance went and took a bunch of towels from the pool area and covered up all the lights around us at night so we could lay there and see the stars better. This is probably not  “allowed” but that is what we did and were there for at least an hour an no one bothered us. The sky was amazing and we even saw shooting stars! I think you would be find to do as you have planned! Have fun! πŸ™‚

gpiglet:  Booking the shows online is the way to do it!!! πŸ™‚ They book up right away so otherwise you miss out.

We only ended up going to the Sushi restaurant, but it was amazinggg!! Chop Grill looked amazing… so did the Mexican restaurant!! Go for whatever you think looks best!! haha. Also, Johnny Rockets is really cheap – we went one night, and its only like $10ish per person for anything you want! Good stuff!
