So I realize this is a pretty old thread, but just wanted to give it a little bump to see if there are any fresh ideas. I’m getting married in a park, and it seems that driving up and getting out at the last minute is not really a good idea (scant street parking, timing issues, etc.) The boat idea PP mentioned is amazing but that isn’t an option sadly. There are a few trees but I’m not sure if I could really “hide” behind them – that’s the most likely option so far though.
Also, did anyone NOT really have an “entrance” for their wedding? How did that work? I don’t care so much about a “grand entrance” but I do think it would be a little odd to just be chillin’ in the park as guests arrive. Plus my fiance wants to wait until the ceremony to see me so it would be hard to do that without an “entrance” of some sort.

Getting married in Forsyth park Savannah GA. Very open with no entrance options. Can anyone give instructions for how to build doors for an entrance? Thank you!!! I have less than 4 weeks to go!!!

I used an outdoor curtain and as we walked out and over to stand behind the curtain, we all held parasols.

Where did you find the frame?

We will be getting married in two weeks in Central Park, and decided to do an unconventional entrance where we either walk to the location arm-in-arm or wait there before our 12 guests show up. We don’t have any music, and I think it will make it more intimate and very sweet to do it that way!
