Hello! I decided to do the post-wedding chop and I really regret it now. It was supposed to be a long swing bob but it ended up being a short blunt cut bob. Bottom line is I am not at all happy and I want to start growing it out ASAP. Anyone have any vitamins/supps/foods that they’ve seen results with or certain treatments/products that gave a noticable increase in growth rate? I miss my long hair 🙁 🙁

My daughter takes BIOTIN and she’s had a rapid growth spurt. When I want my hair to grow quickly I take pre-natal vitamins. I generally don’t want mine to grow fast because I hate touching up my roots so frequently but those work for me!

Unfortunately there are no proven methods to making your hair grow faster, as it is a result of cell division, and on average you can expect to grow about an inch a month. There are medications like minoxidil which promote hair growth, though it will not change the rate, only the thickness.

I’ve heard good things about biotin so have just started taking it as well. I’ve heard B12 and B6 according to my hairstylist. Half my hair broke off (ugh) so I’m in a similar situation trying to get it back to normal.

I agree with previous posters Biotin works wonders. I take it with vitamin E as it causes my skin to breakout.

I’ve had good luck with biotin. I also notice better growth when I’m drinking a lot of water and eating foods high in protein.

I take UltaLife vitamins for hair and nail growth…I’ve been taking them for almost 4 weeks now and I’ve noticed my hair is longer (not significantly but more than the short amount it usually grows) it’s also very smooth, and thicker than it usually is which is great. I didn’t like my hair cut as well, she gave me super short layers that are impossible to do anything with, but it’s growing and I’m happy. As a plus my nails are super strong right now as well which is saying something because my nails usually snap at the slightest breeze, my skin isn’t that shabby either.

Only wash your hair every second day instead of every day. honestly, it worked for me. My hair is nearly down to my butt 🙊

technically, you can’t get your hair to grow faster than it already does. sometimes hair grows slower if you have a medical condition or are malnourished (so if you fix the condition it will go back to normal speed). or if your hair is in bad shape it can break off at the ends sooner than it should, creating the illusion that it’s growing slower.
people who think they got their hair to grow faster than normal are basically experiencing the placebo effect.

There’s no way to get your hair to grow faster. No proven way, anyway.
Have you considered extensions?

Try to stay away from blow dryers, curling irons and flat irons. They can damage hair.

I noticed that mine started randomly growing faster when I went on prenatal vitamins.

Hairfinity worked well for me…

I will try this! Where did you get them?
I hate to admit that I think you are right :/ Even so, I will feel better if I think my hair is growing!
Hmm..I will look into it. Thanks!
