- Wedding: April 2013
We have about 30 people attending our rehearsal dinner. Our families have never met (live very geographically dispersed, in areas that we don’t live in). We also have divorce on both sides of the family, so there will be my mom/her husband, my dad/his wife, dad’s family, his deceased dad’s family, his mom (who prefers not to interact with his dad’s family), and then a handful of people who don’t know anyone (friends, officiant, day-of coordinator).
I almost feel like we need nametags of some sort, I don’t know if that would be lame.
Any suggestions for non-cheesy icebreakers or ways that we can introduce everyone to each other? Everyone will mingle and talk but it is hard to walk up to someone and introduce yourself at times. I’d like to have a plan for how we are going to introduce everyone, all at once.
