@newcitylights:  warning against this.

i received a save the date and i think it was professionally done or through vista etc…

the material(paper) that gets adhered to the magnet is very thin…

and the adhesive that is used isn’t sticky enough…

her save the date magnet could easily be removed from the picture/words itself

make sure the material/paper stock you choose to print on the magnet is THICK and not easily ripped off the magnet or frayed at the edges.

I think both minted.com and weddingpaperdivas.com have them — I’ve ordered various things through both of them (Christmas cards, menus) and been happy with the final product. 

You can always get free samples of their stuff before making a big order if you want to check the quality first 🙂

I think magnets cost more than typical cards — but I think it’s a great idea!
