go for the white, they don’t need to match perfectly and the difference won’t be noticeable in photos

I don’t think the difference will be noticeable either. my dress was a weird off-white (slightly pinkish undertone rather than yellow).   most tux shops offer super limited selections for men’s shirts.

@starrysim: i’m telling you, it’ll be fine. my dress was an off-white ivory (not super yellow-y) and DH’s shirt, vest and bowtie were white and they looked perfectly fine together.

I thought the same thing when we were picking out his suit, but, with his jacket on, the white shirt really does nice.  It doesn’t have to match your dress and will look great in photos!

My dress was a light ivory, and the ivory shirts were just too far in the other direction, so we went with a white shirt on him. Turned out perfect!
