We will have an outer and inner envelope, I am not dead set on using the inner envelope.
How am I supposed to arrange these? Do I put the response cards in the reply envelopes? Or tuck the envelope around them?
2. Reception Card (same size as response card)
3. Response Card & Envelope
4. Rehearsal Dinner Card (also an RSVP, needs to come back with the response card in the same envelope)

Tuck the RSVP card under the flap of the envelope, with the writing face up covered by the flap.
I would put the rehearsal dinner card on top of the RSVP card and also under the envelope flap for those receiving that.
Put the rehearsal card on top of that.
Put that stack on top of the invitation card.
Put them in the inner envelope so the writing is facing the side with the flap closed.
Put the inner into the outer envelope with the front of the inner envelope with the names is facing the side of the outer with the flap (the back).
That way when it’s opened their names are what they pull out and see first.
Make sense? (I think!)
Good luck 🙂

THANK YOU!!!!!!!! This was about what I had in mind (everything facing out so you see it when you open it, etc.), but I went the el cheapo route with invitations and it’s not really full service.
I just wanted to make sure I was thinking along the right lines. Are your invites already out, date twin?

Well… I wanted them to be. I’m currently waiting for the stupid printer at work to get fixed so I can print all my envelopes (gasp! how un etiquette like) in the fancy font I found.
Plus waiting on an invisible pen and the stamps I ordered which should hopefully be here tomorrow. I live in such a whacked out area no one had the stamps I wanted.
Hopefully tomorrow I can print all my envelopes and tomorrow night we can assemble them all (about 75) and get them out Tuesday.
My crowd is pretty local for the most part and we did save the dates, so I’m not too worried about waiting another week if I need to. The RSVP date I went with is May 27th.
EEP it’s getting so freaking close don’t you think?!

Yes, it definitely is getting close. 76 DAYS (our wedding website has a countdown). Where’d you find the invisible ink pen? I tried to order one on amazon this morning but all the ones I found would’ve cost more to ship than the actual pen itself.

I got the pen at Papersource. It’s more expensive than the black light ones, but I can reuse it for some stuff later. It was out of stock for a while and I got an email once it was back in so ordered that and the base of my placecards at the same time so at least I wasn’t paying shipping for just that.
I can’t believe it’s only 76 days. I have *so* much left to do it seems! You’d think a wedding planner would be doing better planning her own wedding 🙂

@thewheelsonthebus: Aha, no wonder your response seemed so informed! Well good luck! I think we all need it!
