So We have 5 Groomsmen and 5 Bridesmaids.
Our tallest Bridesmaid or Best Man is the Maid/Matron of Honor at 5’10”
The Best Man is 6’3″
Then as follows
- Bridesmaid or Best Man 5’8 5’7 5’5 5’3
- Groomsmen 5’11 5,10 5’10 7’0
How the heck do we pair these people up and in WHAT order do they go in? PLEASE HELP!!!

i would stick them in height order, after the moh and bm. that way the 5’3 girl won’t be stuck with the 7’0 boy.

If I were you I would obviously pair up the Maid/Matron of Honor and best man. Then, I would put the rest of your guys and girls in order of height and pair them up that way. Since you have two guys that are the same size, maybe they can decide who of the last two girls they would rather parther with?

I would go with 5’8,7’0; 5’7,5’11; 5’5,5’10; 5’3,5’10 in that order.

Just pair them up tallest to shortest. Tallest pair, then shorter pair, then shorter, etc.
I was 6’2″ in heels for the last wedding I was in and the usher was 15 years old, 5’6″, and my “date” for the night. Now that’s awkward =]
At least all the men are taller!!! I don’t think it’s a big deal.

Get rid of one bridesmaid and put the rest of the BMs on the shorter GMs shoulders.
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself 🙂 Don’t over think it – line them up in whatever order you want to. No one will notice. The photographer will move them to make the pictures looks best.

I was thinking because at our church they all stand on stairs. My Fiance and Best Man will be on the top, then the next groomsmen will be one down and so forth. Maybe have the shortest ones after the Maid/Matron of Honor and Best Man? and go up to the tallest? That way the 7foot guy is on the floor and not too obvious. He is very self conscience about his height. And it’s a short 25 minute Lutheran wedding, so they never sit down. Would that work?

@Mrs. Louboutin I like your thought!!!

We did ours in a staggering height order. We had 3 shortish BMs and 3 shortish GMs and 3 tallish BMs and 3 tallish GMs. So it went tall Groomsmen & Bridesmaid or Best Man and then short Groomsmen & Bridesmaid or Best Man, then back to tall. I also tried to arrange in order of family and who we knew first.
- Maid/Matron of Honor 6’0″ & BestMan 6’3″
- Groomsmen (grooms brother) 5’7″ & Bridesmaid or Best Man (bride’s cousin) 5’2″
- Groomsmen (grooms roommate from college) 6’1″ & Bridesmaid or Best Man (brides H.S. BFF) 5’10”
- Groomsmen (grooms BFF from H.S.) 5’7″ & Bridesmaid or Best Man (brides friend from college) 5’2″
- Groomsmen (grooms friend from college) 6’2″ & Bridesmaid or Best Man (brides friend from H.S.) 5’10”
- Groomsmen (grooms friend from college) 5’10” & Bridesmaid or Best Man (grooms SIL) 5’3″
That’s what worked for us. Since none of your girls are taller than your boys, you can really match however you want, but I liked the idea of the people who were closest to me walked closest to me.

Well, what you can do (what I am planning to do as well) is have the bridesmaids walk down the aisle alone. Then have the Groom, Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen wait at the alter. Then have them walk out together. Nobody really notices when they exit.

Like the staggering…that guys is soooo tall it’s gonna be kind of goofy anyway you do it 🙂 It won’t matter in the end, just pair them up and don’t worry about it!

Make the shortest girl sit on the second shortest girl’s shoulders. They could wear a trench coat and pretend to be one very tall bridesmaid. Hilarity will ensue as the bridesmaid on the bottom steals food off the tables from inside the coat.
I know that’s not helpful, but it’s kind of hilarious.
