I’m trying to decide how to choose Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses to go with my tulle/lace overlay gown. (Alfred Angelo style 2440)
We’re having an outdoor spring wedding with a vintage garden theme — set in a my fiance’s parent’s backyard, in fact. I want my BMs in shades of blush, dusty rose, beige, etc. and would like their dresses to be mismatched. However, I would like to give them some basic guidelines so the overall look will be cohesive as well as go with the theme and my dress. Any suggestions?

I am partial to Jenny Yoo Annabelle. It’s just one dress, but it’s convertible so it your BMs can choose how they wear it. It comes in a variety of dusty/muted colors that sound like they fit your theme. It’s a bit pricey, but I love it more than other convertible options because the colors are on-point for me (muted, not overly bright and happy–I am also doing a color family rather than one color, so it’s important not to have any clown colors in the mix-lol!). Annabelle is a long dress, I think they also carry a short convertible. Also, it’s a tulle dress. I’m not sure if that is good or bad.

I also am planning to get a lace dress and have my BMs in the Annabelle dress! I think they would look stunning together.
ETA: You can order fabric samples for a lot of the colors on BHDLN’s website if you want to see/feel the tulle in person. I just got mine today.

Thank you! I love the Annabelle, I wanted to try it on for my own dress, but fell in love with the one I purchased first. I was thinking that incorporating tulle in the BMs would work nicely as mine has several layers… hmm…. 🙂 Thanks!

I would either do a convertible dress like someone else suggested or pick a designer and let the bridesmaids pick anystyle from that brand to keep things cohesive.
I work in a bridal shop and find many girls get overwhemped with the pick your own styles thing. The two suggestinos above should help them out.
Wtoo actually has a dress similar to the Annabelle but I think it is less expensive. Also Wtoo has a lot of great colors you can mix-and-match.
Also as I said you can pick one designer and have your girls pick. This ensures similarities in construction and fabric but your bridesmaids are able to pick their own styles.
