It depends on the flowers you are using. Some flowers (roses, carnations, baby’s breath…) dry well by just hanging the bouquet upside down and letting nature take its course. I have seen dry bouquets last for MANY YEARS. You can further protect dried flowers by protecting it from the atmosphere (in plastic or glass case, etc.). Orchids and lillies, on the other hand, shrivel when you dry them so they cannot be preserved by drying.
