Ashley1111 :  I don’t think it’s necessary, but if you really want to do it for her, you can make one of those “flower girl proposal kits” (you can check Pinterest) with cute little things she might have fun with.

Ashley1111 :  I bought these and used them for my junior bridesmaids (aged 11-14). And I added in a a unicorn drusy necklace (that they wore to the wedding):

I also really liked this one from her (I might have had her do a hybrid of this one and the one above, I can’t remember):

Ring pop ones are cute too: https://www.etsy.com/listing/535546066/flower-girl-proposal?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=flower%20girl%20proposal&ref=sr_gallery_5

She’s 5. She doesn;t need any special “proposal.”  Just ask.  Kids don’t need a lot to get them happy and excited. Don’t teach her that every occasion needs a big fuss.

I think a ringpop would be cute.

I got my flower girls a little box that had a nice flower ring. On the inside of the box lid it says, “(name), would you be our flowegirl? Love,  Aunt (my name) & (FI’s name)”

I disagree with PP – I think its nice to ask all members of your bridal party in a special way. If kids are rasied properly, then they will never expect gifts for everything.
