My FH and I are combined households and are older and really don’t need to register for that many things if any, so we are thinking of registering for our honeymoon. Has anyone ever done this and if so how did you do it and at what website?

@[email protected]: First of all, congratulations! We are using Honeymoon Wishes and LOVE IT! We have a personal website, can share details of how we met, the reception, etc PLUS the honeymoon registry! 🙂
Check it out, I don’t think you’ll have any complaints. They charge a small service fee but I think it’s worth it to have someone answer my family’s questions and mine 😉 http://www.honeymoonwishes.com

we went with HONEYFUND because unlike all the other registries, they only take 3% commission as opposed to the usual 7%, and it’s only for the management of the site and the paypal fee, not to “skim off the top”. It’s also free to set up, so you don’t have to pay to set up your registry. B/c they use paypal, you can get the money deposited right into your account. They also offer your own personal website, too.

We are using Honeyfund too. It was so easy to set up. And then we were able to just put a link on our wedding website. Of course we don’t know exactly what we want, but the beauty of it is that the money is just deposited to your account through Paypal and you can use it how you see fit.

We use http://www.thehoneymoon.com. They have a great website and pay promtly. We’ve been using them for about 5 years with no issues.

I had a friend use TheBigDay.com and it seemed really good – I also looked into them for our honeymoon but decided not to do a honeymoon registry…they seemed easy enough to use

Traveler’s Joy is another one or Deposit a Gift which lets you “register” for different activites and items but is really like an itemized honeymoon registry!
