Since he considers himself a coffee snob how about taking the popular idea of candy bars, potato bars, etc and doing a coffee bar? Different types of gourmet coffee, a cappuccino and expresso machine, a few good coffee liqueurs to add to the mix and some biscotti on the side as a added treat!

What about a groom’s cake that reflects one of his interests? My cousin had a Battlestar Galactica cake and everyone loved it. Maybe something similar with Star Wars, the WRX, etc. would work? If you are doing favors, you could do either coffee or something related to coffee since he’s a “coffee snob”. Also if you’re getting a DJ, see if he can play some music he likes.

Hope this helps 🙂

Geekery makes this easy and fun! Ask him to name the tables with a theme of something he likes (Named swords, names of locations, planets, buildings… we’re doing fictional spacecraft, to give you an idea.) Orrr a geeky cake topper of his favorite couple. Consider asking him to choose a favor based on something he likes. I assume he’ll be wearing a tie. You can try etsy for ties in themes he likes. Elvish script ties, etc.

or use different coffee names for the table names… like “Ethiopian Dark Roast Table” or you could use the name of cars he likes . maybe a grooms cake that is tech or geek related, or having geeky or tech favors of some kind.  For some reason jump drives popped in my head.  you can never have too many of those, but that would probably be super expensive.
