LilliV :  Good tip!! I am a very laid back person. Id most likely book months ahead and then simply check the day before and leave it at that lol. Id rather pay less for the same than pay more to be able to bug them non stop hahahha.

citizenerased14 :  I’ve had the same feelings and almost made a post about the same topic, letting vendors down easy.

There’s an artist that does BEAUTIFUL letterpress invitations. I reached out to her and she came back at me with a price that wasn’t surprising but way out of my budget. I even set a high budget for invitations because it’s important to me. She then followed up her email saying it was a typo and the invites I was inquiring about were even more than the first quote. I felt so bad because I love her work but I just couldn’t pay the price she was asking (while I think her talent and time are worth it they just weren’t worth it to my wallet). I never replied to her email and it’s been about a month ago. I still feel terrible. Ha! So I understand completely how you’re feeling. Have fun at the cake tasting! Yum!
