Ok Bees, I’m calling out to the hive for help!
I decided to use mason jars w/ handles for my bridal party glasses. I ordered Elmer’s Painters opaque markers to write each person’s name and our date on each glass. Turned out BEAUTIFUL. But, I read about baking the glass to seal/make permanent the paint against scuffing and dishwasher safe. I wondered because these markers didn’t say anything about the baking part.
Needless to say, I was iffy and only made ONE trial glass to start with. Let it dry 24 hours, baked for 30 mins at 300*. Decided to test in the dishwasher. Well, my mug came out BLANK.
What can I use to seal these? I’d much rather put a sealant over top than try to deal with a paintbrush for actual “bake to seal” paint.
