Our reception is going to be cake and punch–in this case lemonade. It is at 2 o’clock and we are expecting between 75-100 people. I would like for it to be self-serve and pretty. Any suggestions? We will have sugar-free and regular lemonade and then bottled water. I don’t want to be refilling constantly. Also, how do you know how much to make?

I’m not sure how much to make, but you could get those containers that have the spouts in the sides. I saw some at target that come in all sorts of different colors that were really cute. They don’t hold too much, but you could just have 2 or 3 per drink if you didn’t want to have to refill.

I went to Bed Bath & Beyond and got a 3 gal beverage dispencer for $30! It was a steal! We are going to make a lot more and just refil it as its starting to get empty. Then you can cut fresh lemons and put it in the dispencer.

One of the last weddings I went to had lemonade served in large pitchers similar to what Beronica posted. No one had any issues with it and thought it was a clever original idea since they had never seen a setup like that before. They also had cold ice water with lime slices in an identical pitcher which is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than bottled water.
Since you are having regular and sugar free lemonades, everything, including water, needs to be labeled somehow.
