- Wedding: July 2010
Hi bees! So we got married last weekend, and the event manager at the hotel was just an absolute godsend! An event coordinator is assigned to every wedding at the hotel, and we’ve been working with her all along to figure out tastings and seating charts and everything and she has been an angel through the whole process. Just absolutely gone above and beyond in every way. So aside from writing a glowing review in an email to her boss, and on the standard form they give us to evaluate her, and writting letter to their corporate headquarters about what a star she is, we want to do something to thank her. Obviously what springs to mind is a tip, but I have no clue how much is appropriate. Since we didn’t pay her, there’s nothing to add 20% to, and obviously trying to base it on the actual reception price would be absurd. My parents suggested getting her some kind of gift, because it would be more personal, but I feel like most people would prefer money unless I knew something in particular that she’d like. Any suggestions?
