Is the back zipper, button, corset? My sister had to literally unzip & step out of her dress to go to the bathroom. There was no lifting it up. It was so much easier and super quick. We were look out so no one saw her naked lol.

@aussieeems: I wore Adorae and just had my Bridesmaid or Best Man lift it up, super awkward but I only had to pee once luckily!
There’s another option I’d read about peeing forward where you sit on the toilet the wrong way. It didn’t really appeal to me tho.

@mchitt329: That’s what I did – sat on the toilet the wrong way. I wore a ballgown, but my bridesmaids refused to help me go to the bathroom. It was…difficult.
OP, you should practice before the wedding and see what works! Just like, use a chair or something, lol.

It’s a corset, so getting in and out may take a while… I’m thinking a catheter may be my only option!!! Lol. I just googled and seems the “backwards” suggestion… May go off and practise… The things we women do!!!
Thanks ladies x

My dress was a drop waist asymmetrical gown and I used the toilet backwards. Sounds awkward but with the help on your bridesmaids it is possible. Here is my dress so you have an idea what we glad to work with.

It depends how tight it is. Mine was more of a fit and flare style not a true mermaid, so while it was super tight i could shimmy it up (with help) over my hips and go. Otherwise, you’re probably going to have to get out of it all the time – which will suck!!

I peed backwards too..! And I went by myself 🙂 (feel so growed up! LOL) I think I only had time to pee once all night.. it went by crazy fast! Here was my dress..

I’ve read tips before on shimmying it up your hips and then straddling
the toilet facing it head on. Hopefully this will be successful because when I sink, I have to pee about every 20 minutes!

I’m only going to be in my gown for about four hours. I’m sure I can hold it and plan to have a good pee immediately before putting it on. Mines a pretty low flaring mermaid, and I’m hoping it is juuust wide enough that it will let me hover at the very least! Hopefully it will shimmy up pretty high.

UGH I didn’t even think about if I had to pee. Ever since I had my twins 8 years ago my bladder is ruined lol. I’ll have to pee every 20 minutes I’m sure once I start drinking. Luckily I have a year to figure it out.
