Try ESPREE Bright white, its for dogs, but it may work for what you are looking for. There are some other WHITE dog shampoo out there. I wouldn’t shave them…

When I saw the title of this post, I was thinking a big pink cat, LOL.

I agree with CDubyaToCJay, the Espree Bright white works great on the dogs so I think it would work on the cats.

Can I ask why you would have to keep giving them baths if you shave them? I’m not saying to do that, I’m just wondering.

Any type of bluing shampoo will work.  It’s blue/purple but it won’t dye your cat that color.

Espree Bright White is actually a bluing shampoo, but I honestly think any brand will do.

You can do dawn soap- works for oily coats but I’m not sure how well it will de- yellow.  We use to use a bluing shampoo and dawn, just separate rinses.  If your kittens aren’t oily though there really isn’t much reason for the dawn.

@canthugallcats: No, a bluing shampoo is used to de-yellow fur.

I found this article for people who want to de-yellow:

Many regular shampoos cause grey hair to turn yellow. This is because the grey hair absorbs the coloration of the shampoo. Some specially formulated shampoos for grey hair have bluing tints that eliminate the yellowing effect. Some examples of bluing shampoos are Artec White Violet Color, Zerran Blue and Clairol Shimmer Lights.

@canthugallcats: Oh I see thanks! I would be sad for any shaved or often bathed cat, I just think most cats would be miserable with either 🙁

I use this shampoo for my dog and it works great.  Its blue, and smells good too.

I would NOT recommend using Espree Bright White for kittens (or cats in general). I used to work in a grooming salon that used espree products and whitening shampoos are quite harsh and can even kill small puppies and cats. It says on the label that it is only to be used on adult dogs.

are you talking about the lime sulfur shampoo? Mine were yellow, too, but it grew out fast!
