You could add it to pasta but why not make the meal a little more special than everyday and have an appetizer and a glass of wine?

Try putting slices over marinated and grilled chicken breasts.  Yum 🙂

OMG you should make a balsamic reduction to go with it!  Make some chicken in the reduction and then serve up the roll on the side with the reduction drizzled over it too.  Oh man, I’m drooling thinking about the reduction… mmmm….

There is no law that says you can’t have an appetizer course when you don;t have company.

We often do that, sit out on the patio with the appetizer and connect at the end of the day before we go in and cook dinner together.

Slice it super thin and put it on toasted bread slices (set this up like bruchetta) over tomatoes, drizzle with olive oil and cracked pepper. Yum!

I agree with using it as is as an appetizer or something simikar or you will lose the point of it! Used in pasta you could just buy the ingredients seperately. The visual appeal is 1/2 the fun and appeal.

Thin slices of it placed atop a baby spinach and arugala salad with 1/2 cherry tomatoes and a balsamic vinaigrette would be awesome too. To turn that into a whole meal try adding some scallops or shrimp.
