Its hard to see the exact color of the dress but how about a complimentary colored cardigan

I think that would look adorable with a yellow peacoat and some sweater tights. Maybe a hat?

You could always take a few pics in settings where you cant tell what season it is, wearing just what you had planned for summertime. You will have to suffer for a few minutes, but it won’t be the end of the world as long as you have some hot cocoa and a big heavy coat waitig on you for afterwards. Swimsuit models do it all the time.

I agree, I’d not use the white cardigan.  I love the sweater tights and peacoat idea.

Have you thought of boots instead of heels? you could even wear a pair of heeled boots. They are very fall in season and would look great with the right colored cardigan.

@alyssars1:  How long are you going to be outside?

I think you can get away with it unless there’s already snow on the ground where you live. Where I live we’ve had a blizzard already. Ugh. So it would look weird if I wore your outfit at this point in the year.

I think you could definitely warm it up a bit by wearing tights, though… definitely. And a cute scarf.

I would suggest wearing something you’re comfortable in. Unless you’ve had lots of photo sessions, e-photos are awkward enough, and if you’re not feeling comfortable/sexy then they won’t turn out as well.

I LOVE your outfit!!!! Where is the dress/cardi from?

I would personally try and wear it anyways….. but

I agree, throw on a coloured peacoat and some tights!

like the OP I would wear a cute coloured coat in a bright colour with a cute knitted hat and some warm woolen tights with black boots.

It started snowing the day we did our engagement photos.

My first outfit was featuring this suuuper cute jacket I got at Guess. It works great for winter Save the Dates. I had a second outfit that included a skirt, high heels and a thin top. It was freezing cold but we made it work by bringing a big fluffy blanket with us to cover up with between shots and locations.
