- Wedding: June 2009
So, we’re doing our rehearsal at 11am because that’s what our venue requires. Dinner is at 6pm, but there will be a lot of people milling around at noon and I’m sure we’ll all be hungry. About 24 people in all, including Bridal Party, parents, and grandparents.
I’ve mentioned to my family and Fiance that I want to do an indian food buffet for lunch. It’s like $9.99 for lunch, super awesomely delicious, and not reminiscent at all of anything we’re eating for the rehearsal or the wedding.
How do I let everyone know we’re doing lunch (so i can reserve a table big enough) without implying we’re paying for the lunch on top of everything else? We just think it’s convenient b/c we’re picking someone up at the airport too….my family’s going and my Fiance, too, so i want to extend the invite to everyone else w/o being rude. You know how it is with "wedding stuff"….it’s always the question of who’s paying.
Is an email to the extent of, "hey we’re thinking about catching lunch at the Indian Palace near the airport after the rehearsal. Let me know if you’re in so i can reserve a big enough table" is sufficient? or should i Mention "they have really yummy tandoori chicken and lunch is like $9.99 so you should def join"
