The wording for Save-The-Date Cards was simple: Please save the date for the marriage of so and so, with the date and resort name. I also included contact info for my travel agent, so people could book early for early booking bonuses.
I am now ready to send out my invitations, and am lost how to word them. A lot of guests have booked already, but some have not RSVP’d yet.
“We request the pleasure of your company” or similar seems redundant, since we really have already done that with the Save-The-Date Cards.
I was thinking of something like” We are excited you have chosen to celebrate this day with us”, but that doesn’t seem appropriate to send to the guests who have not RSVP’d.
I have already sent a casual message to those to encourage a response, but I can’t wait forever!
