So our wedding is coming up in May, so I only have about 3 months to go. I really really want to work out to shape myself up for it- nothing huge, but I wanted to lose around 10 pounds before the wedding. I am 5″3, and about 129 lbs…usually only around 120. I was looking to really tone up my arms/chest and abs.
The problem is, in January I decided to get a mole removed from above my breast for cosmetic reasons. I figured I would have around 4 months for it to heal, and the doctors told me it should heal up in about 2 weeks. Well, apparently this is a bad place for mole removal, because despite following all the doctor’s healing directions, the wound popped open last week. I went to the derm as soon as possible and they told me it would take another 4 weeks for this to heal! I asked about excercise, and they said that I could run (as long as I wore 2 bras) and walk, but to not do any arm or chest excercises at all! That gives me only about 2 months to work out, if it actually does heal in that amount of time.
So for all of you fitness women, is there anything else I can be doing? Can I tone my arms in less than 2 months? I’m really nervous about this. Thanks for reading.
