OK, so I love flowers wrapped around the inside of a bubble bowl, like the picture I attached, for our centerpieces. The cheapest price quote I got at a florist was $30 each. I’m considering DIYing them now! I found 60 stems of orchids on Fifty Flowers for like $130 to $140, then the 10 inch bubble bowls are on sale right now at Hobby Lobby for half off, so $8 each. So to do it myself is $17 each, a huge savings.
So the problem is that I don’t know how to do it! I mean, it doesn’t look difficult. Just wrap some flowers inside, right? But what if it’s harder than I think and I’m left two days before my wedding with something I can’t do?! See the stress here? 🙂 I can’t find a tutorial, but if there are any florists or expeience with this kind of thing, I would REALLY appreciate some advice!
Thanks to all of you wonderfully helpful and supportive Bees!

@kayjayc: It is as easy as it looks. Just make sure you have a bunch of flowers.

@kayjayc: I would probably get a couple stems of it from a florist and one bowl and try it out to make sure it was simple. But yeah, that totally looks doable. Orchid stems are not that thick or hard, so I imagine you can bend them super easy.

You pretty much start with the greenery and circle them around your hand, put your hand in the bowl and let them expand.. Do the same for the orchids.. I did centre pieces similar for a friends 21st. Just wind them up before you put them in the bowl and let them expnad inside the bowl:)

Definitely do a test run soon so you can re-adjust if you don’t like it / not stress out any longer.
