They have never met. They can meet at the wedding or Rehearsal Dinner and I don’t really care how they feel about that. There is no good way to get them together without hurt feelings on both sides, so I am just not interested in arranging it.

My parents and his parents are practically best friends.

His family has been involved with mine for about 12 years now, so I’ve known him since we were 8. Our parents are always going out, having parties, and always have a great time together.

I am very blessed, to say the least, especially since I adore my family and his!

Never, my inlaws are in the states, hubby and I live in Aus same as my mum, we (Hubby and I) purposefully kept the two families seperate, my mum is socially awkward and pretty bad with any kind of social interaction, and my inlaws are capital C crazy! To the point my Husband didn’t add my mum on Facebook until he’d cut ties with his family to protect her from them. Although my mother did meet one of my little sister in laws at one stage (over webcam) the interaction didn’t last more than a minute since his sisters didn’t like talking to me, or acknowledging me (easy to do over a webcam)..

My parents and the inlaws get along great!!! They are very similar to each other in many ways. They havn’t hung out together alone without us but we had a destination wedding in Cuba and they got along well together while on the trip
