My engagement ring has a 2mm band with a slight taper towards the center stone, which is a .7 carat diamond. My wedding band is also a 2mm band. I believe my engagement ring is sized to a 6.5 and wedding band a 6…but honestly I can’t tell a difference between the two rings sizes and I do still have some wiggle room.

My set feels a little too dainty to me (which I find funny because that’s what I was going for when we chose them) so we’re ordering me an anniversary band for our 1st anniversary in April. I’m very excited to add it to my set…I’m going to put it between my two current rings. It is 4mm so I think it will make it nice and substantial and very sparkly!

My engagement ring is 2 and my wedding band is 3 I think (at the back). Center diamond in my engagement ring is 2CT and the center diamonds in my band are .23 CTS each.  Size 5 finger.

The engagement ring is 1.7 mm, the diamond 3/4 eternity band is 2.3 mm. My fingers are size 7, and long.

Lurking on the ring boards, I guess I got so used to seeing such zoomed in photos that it altered my perception. My engagement ring is THIN. Like, 1.7 is SUPER thin. I worried that 2.3 mm would be too thick, since 2 mm seems to be standard, but it’s just also SO thin. I adore them, but I’m also probably going to add a 2 mm rose gold plain band to the bottom, just so that they look a little more substantial.

Engagement Ring is 1.8mm with softened knife edge and 1.85ct diamond.

Spacer is 1.8mm with micro-pave.

Band is approx. 3.1 mm with .12ct diamonds.

Finger size is 5.25-5.5, but rings are sized larger to accommodate my knuckle.

My ER is according to James Allen 1.8-2.0 mm. Looking at pictures on this thread though it seems like maybe mine is smaller than that. My ring size is 3.75 so not sure if the went slightly thinner than standard because of that. I think as bands go it looks quite thin and I wouldn’t go any thinner. I am considering getting a thicker wedding band but not decided. I know I want to do some stacking with different styles and colors eventually.

My band is 1.8mm, 1.5 ct stone, and my ring size is a 4. I have very short stubby fingers though (my longest finger is ~3″ long for reference), so I needed something thin and dainty so I could comfortably fit a wedding band with it.

Between my actual engagement ring, anniversary rings, and special gifts from my husband, I have a few different rings that I wear in the “engagement” ring spot. (which sounds totally awkward, but hopefully makes sense — LOL) And they are all different widths, which might be helpful on a post like this. Maybe? I tend to like a heavier, more substantial-looking ring than a lot of people seem to want.

My ring size is 7.

Original engagement ring has a stone that is around .53 ct or something like that. It is 3mm wide at the widest part of the shoulders, nearest the center stone. It tapers down to around 1mm at the very bottom.

Anniversary Ring #1, which was for our 16th (I think?) anniversary. This has a center stone that is .90 ct. It is 6mm wide at the widest point of the shoulders, tapering down to 3 or 4 mm at the thinnest part of the band on the bottom. (I have it with a 3mm band in this picture.)

Scroll solitaire. This is set with a London Blue Topaz that is around 2.5ct (9mm … I think?). The band width is 2mm, and it is pictured here with a 2.5mm band..

20th anniversary ring, which is my newest. And I remain obsessed with it — probably will be for a long while, too!

This has an oval center stone that is a little over 2 ct (2.31 or something like that?) and 8.8mm x 6.37mm. The band is not a continuously smooth shape, but it tapers to 2mm right next to the stone, then gradually widens to 4mm at the widest part on the top of the shoulders, just before it goes down between my fingers. (I hope that makes sense.) It is shown here with a 2.5mm plain band.

My band is about 2.82mm and my ering is about 4.02 at the bottom making it about 7mm total at the bottom, but actually widens out to 7mm at the top.
