I would be a little worried. If she still does not have it by next week I would start to panic lol..maybe start brainstorming for a backup plan?

Is it due to her not ordering or the shop not delivering?

unless the dress is in and it is just a case of her not picking it up yet, in which case I wouldnt worry because obviously she is not going to show up without it haha

@jessiesdream

I would be worried.

Is it something she can walk in and purchase or does it have to be ordered? Does it have to be altered?

Maybe she hasn’t found the right dress yet and doesn’t want to compromise with any old black dress just yet. An off the rack black dress is pretty easy to come by so I wouldn’t be too worried.

Also could she be facing some financial hardship that you are unaware of?

If it makes you feel any better, two of my bridesmaids are yet to buy their dresses and you and I are date twins… My BMs are procrastinating, not making a statement about their commitment and as they already know the elements they need to co-ordinate with (pink heels and bouquets) there’s no reason I NEED to know what their dress is (though I am, of course, so curious to see what they pick!)

@Katnisseverdeen:  I wouldn’t worry 🙂

A nice black dress is easy enough to come by. Maybe she’s waiting for a sale or already knows where she’s going to buy it off the rack?

Edit: Oops, j_jaye I basically copied what you said.
