I just ordered my Maggie Sottero Jessie (I LOVE IT! Can’t wait for it to come in!), and even though I won’t have to choose a bustle for a while, I’m trying to get ideas!
I really like the idea of a train-flip bustle, but not sure if it would work with a train like this??
Does anyone have pictures of their bubble-hem/balloon-hem trains bustled?

Check the boards for Adorae – I think there are a lot of brides on here with it and I know I’ve seen some bustle pictures.

I had a bubble train dress too. Here’s (terrible quality guest) photo of it:

Beautiful! Is that a train-flip bustle…? I keep reading about them but I havent seen many “real” photos of it done with a bubble hem gown.

Thanks for the suggestion! The Adorae has a very similar train, and there are a TON of pics of it bustled! Yay!
I can’t find ANY other Jessie brides out there… but I kind of like having a (sort of) unique dress. 🙂

I think the under bustle will look great.

I’m an Adorae… and the alterations lady, who has done that dress many times, suggested a French bustle. I’m honestly not well versed in bustle-terminology but she kind of swept it to the side so it goes with the diagonal draping of the dress and doesn’t look like an odd bunch of fabric.

Also seen your post here. The bridal shop i bought my dress from put a hook under the applique on the hip and a small loop halfway down the centre seam on the train..et voila! side bustle. I think they put the loop too high up though as i was still being trodden on!
