Found this online and love it…just dont know what feathers they would have used or how they arranged it…also if anyone has suggestions where to buy feathers for a good price. Would want to make in coral/grey/ivory to match colors so might not be the same typoe of feathers? Also wondering how many feathers I would need for 9 centrepieces…

You can find feathers at the craft store pretty cheap. Having worked with them in the past they glue well with hot glue onto whatever form you use i.e. styrofoam, etc., just start at the bottom and work your way up. Good luck!

Wow, gorgeous. You’ll need lots and lots of feathers for that. I don’t knowthe nake of those feathers but you can find them at most craft stores they are very popular and the fuzzy grey is the ‘down’ or the bottom of the feather. I bought a bag with about 50 feathers for 2.99. The feathers are small so you’ll need tons

TradeMe has some great “feather dealers” that are way cheaper than spotlight – what great centrepieces though!

It looks likes a nice size manzatia branch as the center support and then you can tightly wind floral wire around the branch, from the stem of the feathers. Im sure the base wont be as clean maybe you could use some spray adhesive or may research best adhesives for feathers, but cover it with more feathers =) Its really pretty! I hope you figure out a way that works for you!

I’ve seen vases similar to the one in the picture at dollar tree (they also have a website). I believe the feathers in the picture are guinea hen feathers. You can get feathers dyed to whatever color you want, but I think the natural color would go great with your wedding colors. I would buy a styrofoam cone to glue the feathers to, as stryofoam can be easily shaved down and shaped. The most important thing is to get a cone that will fit tightly into the top of the vase (you could glue it in place for stability or stick the twigs into the base of the cone). I really like the feathers at pegasus22 etsy shop (the prices are reasonable and most of the sellers will give you a special price for large orders). You should be able to find the twigs at any craft store and cut them to fit the vase. You could also put a mini LED light at the bottom of the vase and fill it with clear stones or plant gel to give the vase a nice glow.
